Unlike some of the competition, the NSX strategically boasts plastic reinforcement in the calf guard, one of the most commonly impacted areas on the leg.Internally, Bauer used comfortable and durable medium-density foams topped with hydrophobic mesh. The center portion is removable so players can throw it in the wash or simply take it out after a game for quicker drying.
